I love it at the Overture Domain. The residents are interesting and friendly. The activities are varied and widely available. The perks are generous. I have lived here with my dog for over 2 years and have no plans to move.

I love Overture at the Domain. My life here is much more relaxed than they were when I lived in a large house and my days were filled with things that needed to be done. I loved our previous home. It was great for entertaining our friends. When our children were in town with the grandkids, it was really nice that we could put them all up in our house at the same time. But as we entered our seventies, it became more and more of a headache to maintain a large house with four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a media room, a library, a three-car garage, with a swimming pool, a septic tank, an underground propane tank, and a high-maintenance one-acre yard. The Overture allows me to focus my activities on watching movies, learning new things, and mingling with my friends and neighbors in the public areas that all residents share. In short, I spend my day doing what I love to do rather than what I have to do. There is no turning back for me.
I have lived here five years in November and have enjoyed all my time here. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Always awesome acting group to work with.

I absolutely love my home! My apartment is pretty comfortable and quiet. the overture is beautiful and well maintained.
The staff is helpful, kind and interested in helping us enjoy ourselves. I was in the park recently and was approached by the neighbor from a different apartment complex. They commented about how much fun we seem to have here at the overture. Asked for an invitation to our events because we seem to have so much fun! I invited them to cone in and talk to the staff about our little slice of heaven.
I felt welcome from the moment I stepped in at Overture Domain. Lisa and Debbie answered all my questions with patience and knowledge. I liked the amenities and the common spaces.
We love living at the Overture Domain in Austin. Easy graceful daily activites for those who like it that way or exciting active adventures for others. Everyone seems to get along and respect each other.
I have lived at The Overture for more than a year, so I think I should write an update to my first review. I will focus my observations on the things that I like most, so what follows is not necessarily what every resident enjoys.
I am convinced that I made a really good decision when I decided to move here. Life is easy: a lot easier than living in a large, high-maintenance house.
The place is located very well. I like walking around the Domain with a group of friends; working out in the gym when it’s too hot to walk outside; sharing breakfast with friends three days a week; enjoying Happy Hour every Thursday; or watching a movie in the comfortable media room.
But I do think that it is the diligent and friendly staff that really makes the Overture special. Suzy is always there, ready to greet you or help out. Dan holds the fort much of the time. And Lisa, the Manager, is very professional and quick to help out when needed.
So move out, and move in here. We won't disappoint you.
Great amenities and well maintained. Staff is energetic, friendly and genuinely interested in the residents. The location in the Domain is great. Restaurants and shopping are easily accessible by walking, keeping us fit.
The lease agreement is like joining the Navy. That said, the process was mostly easy. Items were completed via email, and the availability of electronic was a real plus.
There was an issue with the application's display, and the Overture support team was very helpful in resolving the problem.
Finally, I was impressed with the facilities, which exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to my new home

Moving to Austin to be near family after many years away, I had mixed emotions, both great & sad because I was leaving a place I considered "home" in Chicago. Being with family is a great decision, however, chosing THE Overture was also a great decision. I can consider it home.
We are so happy here at The Domain! Our neighbors are all super friendly, welcoming, and FUN! There is always something going on, whether Rummicube, Mexican Train, Scrabble, Party, movie, Trivia, pool party, grilling, Canasta, Cornhole!! We love that we can be at one event, go home, and be back at another event within minutes! Such easy living! Dan, Suzy, and Lisa are the best ever!
Wonderful place. Enjoy the friendly and engaged residents and staff. Weekly evening events are fun and creative and give us a chance to interact with residents we have not engaged before.

My husband and I enjoy living here because the residents are friendly, great location and management team is very accommodating. There are many activities to choose from whether they are led by our social director or residents.
This has been the best experience we ever had on any rentals we have lived. The staff, the tenants and the environments is extremely incredible, friendly and very nice.
I am excited to become a resident at Overture Domain. There seems to be a lot to do. Since I am new I can not comment on too many things, but I love the location, the common spaces are very nice and I love the location of my new apartment. The staff has been very helpful.
I love living in my apartment because it perfectly blends comfort, convenience, and community. The cozy layout provides a sense of personal sanctuary, allowing me to unwind after a long day. The natural light streaming through the large windows brightens the space and uplifts my mood. I’ve been able to decorate and organize it to reflect my personality, making it truly feel like home.
One of the best parts is the location. My apartment is close to everything I need—grocery stores, restaurants, parks, and public transportation. This accessibility saves time and makes errands stress-free. The friendly neighbors and occasional community events add warmth and a sense of belonging, creating a supportive environment.

I've lived here for 3.5 years. I currently have 2 dogs, Scottish terriers. I like living here. My neighbors are friends. We all get along pretty good. The building is nicely maintained, as well as the landscape. That's important to me as I worked in my yard a lot when I owned a house. My apartment is 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and that's the perfect size for me to maintain without a lot of effort. ere are a lot of activities in the building on a daily basis, but the main event I attend is the Thursday night Mix and Mingle. The rest of the time I spend in my apartment and walking my dogs four times a day. This is home.
This seems more like a luxury hotel than just an apartment complex. It’s ALWAYS spotless and clean. I had never lived in an apartment before and I was concerned about the noise level. I have visited friends in apartments and we were always advised to keep it down. I have been here for 8 months now. I have never been aware that there were folks around me. The events planned are thoughtful and fun. I had thought about going back home but I soon realized that I am home. Thank you

It’s been great. I wish I’d been given my information sheet sooner. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. I don’t k ow what to do with the pile of boxes I had to put in the hallway. Someone told me I need to take them away but I’m not able to break them down.
Overture Domain 55+ Active Lifestyle apartments has been my home for over 4 years. Situated in The Domain shopping and entertainment center in central Austin, this has been a premier destinarion for several years. If you would like a home with fun activities, exercise, and community built right in, this could be your next home!
Dan was very nice showing us around to 3 different apartments . And also around the other amenities at The Overature. I am very pleased with my new home.
We are three years into the Overture and are very happy with the community and staff.
I commend Humberto for his quick and committed action in fixing the problem in our apartment.
The location is excellent for me AND my dog. Dog park nearby and safe walking day and night. Great shopping nearby and a variety of eating establishments ... restaurants and food trucks. The residents are active and interesting. And the activities bring the residents together for informal conversations. I have lived here for four months and have truly found a home!
I love living at the Overture. The building is beautiful, well maintained, and in the great location of the Domain. It is like living in a fancy resort with many activities and lots of fun people. I have my theatre, restaurants, salons and shops just a block or two away; my third floor balcony view is amazing, and I can walk to Q2 Stadium. Warm and welcoming people make this place our favorite. There are many social activities in which we can meet people. There are activities such as Pilates, yoga and dance lessons. We are loving it here.
The staff really care for our well being and maintenance of the facilities is top notch too.
Overture Domain is my home. The staff here are friends. Michelle Futrell is an excellent manager. She maintains the building beautifully, as well as the landscaping. That is very important to me! The maintenance guys are very nice and do an excellent job as well. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
I love to live here, the staff is helpful and they always answer quickly. The building are amazing, clean and lovely. I do not have complain.

THis has been definitely the best place I have lived as a rental community. The staff member are superb, they provide the best support to the tenants. The living are are also comfortable and enjoyable.
Overture Domain is an attractive, safe, friendly and fun place to live. Walking distance to many Domain establishments. Great location, great people, great value.

I have lived here for 1.5 years and I’m very happy here. Maintenance issues are resolved in a timely manner and the maintenance staff here is darn good. The office staff is always polite and courteous to my needs. Rent is affordable considering all of the amenities that are available.
The Overture is a well managed.
As new residents, we are looking forward in participating in several opportunities that are offered for learning and meeting new friends.

I moved in on Oct 20th after a brief visit to the place a month earlier. Moving in was well planned and smooth as the staff had ensured it was easy for me as well as for the residents.
The place has all the facilities that are generally found in most highly rated apartments and is clean and well maintained. It allows pets and is a smoke-free community. The added advantage is the dog park just behind the building, which is popular place for strolls for the residents and their pets.
Since Overture is located at the Domain, one can go out to shop at leisure or get things delivered to the doorstep!
Life here is peaceful, and keeps the residents active, healthy and happy with facilities for hobbies, celebrations, fitness, events and fun-time. It is the special care and the cheerful attitude of the staff who work hard that makes it a safe, stress-free, and fun place to be in. I am happy to have moved in here and am enjoying it.

THis is the best over 55+ community complex we have ever been. The facility is great, the staff unbelievable friendly and helpful on every situation. The tenant are from another world, incredible friendly on every occasion.
The Manager are great and wonderful. I have not meant all the residents. the Place is very clean and well keep. Most of all is pool and gym and a dog park. Is quick love the view.
Great community of residents who enjoy one another's company. Our lobby, with all the areas for different activities are always filled with laughter. However, our community is likewise a very concerned & caring when one has a problem.
Overture Domain is more than a property. It is my home. Michelle and Kenia are not just managers. They are family. We have lived here 5 years and can’t imagine moving anywhere else.
Staff does a great job maintaining the property. Management is professional and responsive. Neighbors are cordial. There are plenty of activities to accommodate any interest.

So far no issues. The staff has been very friendly and I attended the Thursday night mixer and met a lot f very nice and friendly people. Hope the experience stays positive going forward. I love the fact there is a parking deck with all this heat.
I continue to think the apartment community is lovely but I wish there was a private area in the building where we could entertain guests. When young grandchildren visit it is a challenge to keep them contained in the community areas. I have three daughters and several grand kids who live nearby and I wish there was some place where we could share a meal or sit and visit all together, our apartments are too small.
I can't praise enough the staff of Overture Domain! They are always helpful, positive, kind and fun! They make residents lives at Overture an every day awesome experience.

I absolutely love living here. I have so many friends and the friends get involved in as many activities as possible. We go to movies, restaurants, and shopping. I have lived here for 5 years. I can truthfully say that this is the happiest time of my life. When I first started, I would say "Have a nice day."However, there wasn't that attachment of sincerity; so I learned every person's name. Now, I say, "Hello Julia, have nice day." It worked. Now everybody mentions each person by name. So sweet.

To live & park on the same level is genius while safety is a priority. The breakfast buffets are such a great way to start your day plus, the staff is simply the best.

I have lived at Overture Domain for 6 years. It is just the best place to live if you are over 55 and want to be active and part of a community. And being located inside The Domain is a big plus!
Things haven’t been perfect since we moved in on December 15. A new manager was being hired because the previous one was moving to another property; it definitely created transition issues. And the quality of the food offerings presented as a way to offset rent went down almost immediately upon our move in.
But, the staff here is unfailingly kind and they try hard to make things wonderful for residents. There are multiple activities on any given day, and the continental breakfast and weekly happy hour are welcome treats, as well as great ways to connect with others.
The grounds are lovely, as are the common area spaces. I love the hot tub and look forward to using the heated pool now that sunshine is plentiful. I feel secure here, and know my requests are taken seriously. So far, great property, great management.
Love it here. Always something to do and everyone was so wonderful when my beloved Snickers died. Helped me get thru it. Helped me get him to pet med when his vet was closed to get cremated.

I have been worried for months that my lease renewal offer would be unreasonable and that I would have to negotiate the new monthly rate.
But the offer I got was fair and I felt no need to counter. I am not going to provide more detail about what was offered and agreed because I consider the numbers to be private.
The fact is that I’m staying, that I’m happy, and that management is happy too.

I love this place. It’s so relaxing. I have so much more time for recreation and reading. In a house there is always some job that needs to be done or some thing that must be fixed. I retired 12 years ago but since then I have always felt that each day there were things that had to be done. At last I feel truly retired. In this community you do not become inactive because there is always something to do that you want to do, but don’t need to do .
The building and design--impeccable! The community events are very nice. The staff are very professional, kind, and helpful. Overall the community of tenants have been friendly, but there are a few who expressed fear and being terrified of my Emotional Support Animal, when it's there dogs who are barking, lunging and aggressive towards my dog and me. The staff has handled the unfortunate situation with great care and immediacy to ensure to all parties are satisfied and demonstrated that both he and I are welcomed in the community and can enjoy living here.

Great community to live in. The residents are friendly and everyone seems to be enjoying their best days at the Overture Domain. The property is well kept and staff are attentive to concerns, ne day and request.
I love the Overture Domain 55+ Apartment Community. The management and maintenance staff are the best. The activities are varied and endless. The friendships I’ve made in the almost 4 years I’ve lived here are invaluable. Whenever I’m driving into the parking garage, as the gate goes up I sit there and think that I just cannot believe I get to live here!

I haven't lived in an apartment since I was in my 20's. That was a long time ago! But I like living here. I have made some good friends, and it's nice to see people without having to drive somewhere to do so. Some of my friends and relatives thought I wasn't going to like it and were judgmental about me selling my house. But some of those same people are struggling to do yardwork and home maintenance in the heat or are paying a lot of money to have someone else do it for them. I love my apartment. It's the right size for me.
Staff that has left needs to be replaced ASAP!! Water problems occurring too often which is very disruptive.
Thurs mix and mingle small bites leave a lot to be desired- poor quality
Amenities are being reduced!!
Community very nice, friendly. Lots of activities for residents. Staff very accommodating location is easily accessible to anywhere you need together to. The Domain is in walking Distance with many stores and restaurants.
Living in this community has proven to be a very rewarding experience. The staff is extremely friendly and supportive. The cleanliness of the common areas is excellent.
Most people are very friendly . There are a few clicks ie we got told at the Thursday night get together we were at some group’s table. Not the friendliest greeting. However most are quite nice…we’ll see.
The pump out back is way noisier then we were told about and it’s ‘night lights’ -we were told nothing about will need some kind of blackout curtain under the blinds.
So almost 4 days and mixed feeling.

Overture Domain in Austin, Texas is a wonderful property for 55+ adults. Multiple floor plans, open areas for community events and fantastic amenities for physical and mind fitness.
Overture is a great place to live if you are looking for a senior active living community with plenty of choices and amenities. The staff and maintenance crews are attentive, friendly and respond to your requests and needs pretty quickly.
We enjoy our apartment and our community! We have many activities to keep us busy and a coffee bar. It is a good location! Close to great restaurants!

Other than the noise it's a great place to live. Location is great overall. The staff is very helpful. I just wish the ability to control noise apartment to apartment was better mitigated.
Tired of the water issues! Don’t understand why your rent stays high and even though you keep offering new people so much lower. Some policy that you can’t ever lower the rate for occupants unless they pay $500 and move to a different apartment. The turnover costs must be higher than other apartments.
I love living at Overture. The office staff is wonderful, they work hard to please the residents. I never have to wait long for any service order requests to be completed so the maintenance staff is great. It is an 55+ "Active Living" community and NOT "Assisted Living" and I love it for that reason. I'm not ready for the nursing home feel yet.
The parking situation on the second floor is still horrible that is why I am not giving 5 stars. I wish they would make a request that people try and park on the floor they live on. In addition I am still waiting to find out who taped a note to my car using packing tape that required a professional to remove it.
Apartment experience is awesome. i occasionally miss events, and this week was occupied with an Astound TV problem and a lengthy visit by my representative from United Health care.

This facility is now up to SIX RESIDENTS WHO PREFORM BABYSITTING ON A REGULAR DAY TO DAY BASIS.
BABYSITTING NOT CHILDREN VISITING !!!
THIS IS IN CLEAR VIOLATION OF THE LEASE AND IS NOT REFLECTIVE OF 55+ Active Adult.
This was first brought to management’s attention 7/12/2022 with an email. NOTHING -NOTHING HAS BEEN ENFORCED !!!!
Management has sent emails “only” about the lease requirements. RESIDENTS DO NOT CARE !!!
This Overture Domain has a PROBLEM and it is NOT about amenities.
Once again staff, amenities, housekeeping, maintenance and location of Overture Domain is NOT THE PROBLEM.
GREYSTAR MUST ENFORCE THE LEASE EVERYONE HAS SIGNED.
Side note: BABYSITTING is now a topic of conversation among residents.

Excellent management and community. The proximity to the volleyball courts is negatively impacting the quality of living of many residents due to daily loud music.
The volleyball court is creating an unacceptable level of noise due to loud music being played every day until 9 p.m. While the game itself naturally produces some sound, the volume of the music—combined with its close proximity to the apartments—is extremely disruptive for residents. Despite numerous complaints, the situation has not improved, as different groups continue to play music at very high volumes.
We urgently request that music during open games be prohibited in this area so residents can have a livable and quiet environment in their homes.
The parking situation is less than ideal. The answer from upper management to purchase a spot when I voiced my concern was not the answer I was looking for. They say they are working on a solution, so I guess we will see.
Amenities that I enjoyed are now being slowly removed. Many of us enjoy the exercise videos that I hear are now going to be cancelled. Also the repurposing of our square gaming tables.
Although it is a 55+ plus community, it is very cliquish, like when I was in high school. Grow up already. As I get older, I will be mindful not to complain as much for mundane things.
