I think Overture Stone Oak is one of the best complexes in town! Staff and residents are like family, care about each other and happy to let each other know it!
Excellent Staff, the very few problems are addressed quickly, plus a warm and welcoming community with activities and events galore. Not to mention the heated pool. What more could you ask for?
Love living here! We have been here 7 years and have enjoyed everything they offer! The activities and staff are top notch! We have a beautiful view of the pool and surrounding area. The maintenance staff here is top-notch and have never had any problem with their service. We’ve met so many lifelong friends and acquaintances over the years. This is truly our home!

I like this community because the location is convenient, the building is impressive looking, the maintenance is efficient, the staff is friendly and competent, and the residents are friendly.
I feel very welcomed. The first to make the very impressive view was and is luxurious hallways. Entry to apartments was sheltered . Maintained very well and any chance meeting with staff (current) is always cordial. Very welcomed AND comfortable.
We live this community! Been for 7 years . We have looked at other communities and Overture Stoneoak is the best by far! The beautiful entrance is a fantastic feature. The wide hallways and paintings on the walls of each floor give it a resort feel. We have met so many great people over the years. Overture is definitely is our home!
This place has to be the best of the best. All of our staff do a marvelous job. We really appreciate all of you. Yvonne, our fearless leader, goes above and beyond to make sure our needs are met and she's very personable.

We are getting ready to move back to the Overture. We were very happy with our previous stay at the Overture so we are really looking forward to returning.
Wonderful community with plenty of activities. I just love my apartment and balcony. The staff is amazing and very friendly!!! Pets are allowed which was important to me.
We have many clubs to choose from and I joined the Garden Club. I know nothing about plants, but have learned a great deal about planting and maintaining them. I love being outside and bringing so much joy to others who walk through. It's so beautiful.
Overture is a great place to live. Always something going on to keep everyone busy. Residents are so friendly it's like a big happy family. The main concern of all the personnel that work at Overture is to ensure all residents are kept safe and to enjoy their home

There is a true sense of community at OSO. Long term residents greet newcomers with genuine warmth. The events are well managed , there is a large variety of activities to choose from, and they always happen at the time posted. The grounds are pleasant and well cared for, and the ambiance of the common areas is inviting. The staff really cares about the privacy and welfare of its residents. We repeatedly mention how fortunate we are to have found Overture Stone Oak as our home!
We loved our time at Overture. There is nothing we would change. The staff is friendly, helpful and caring. The residents are the best!. The activities are fun, and there are different things for everyone’s enjoyment.

Love OSO. Amazing residents and community. The staff is caring, efficient and does an amazing job. Great communication with residents. I recommend OSO all the time.
Just renewed my lease - nowhere else I’d rather be. Jason is quick to respond to repair needs and, Marianne keeps common areas clean. Judy our Lifestyle Coordinator, stays ahead of the game when it comes to our activities. Our manager, Yvonne, listens to us all. A great place for active seniors.
I am completely satisfied with my apartment floor plan.
I’m very pleased with the commons area.
I think we have a good variety of activities which I take part in most of them.
We have a wide variety of residents which I feel makes for an interesting group.

Great place to live. Enjoy the special activities. Just wish parking was better. Like when the food trucks come by. The building is well kept and very clean
Beautiful resort type facilities. I love the friendly residents and they are helpful to newbies. The staff I’ve met so far were informative and willing to assist me as I navigate my way around.

It's a great community. The people here are very friendly and willing to help each other. My apartment is has good sunlight. The hallways are great for walking when the outside weather is not good.
I have been very satisfied with the service here and happy living here. When I need maintenance I am serviced very soon. Yvonne is always helpful whenever I need answers to questions.
I feel like this is home! I had a medical experience that was devastating to me, but everyone at Overture was so very concerned and helpful it warmed my heart! I am grateful for all the best wishes and prayers going my way. I am also thankful for the friendships I have gained since moving in. I am never at a loss for things to do to keep busy! The office staff is a great asset to Overture.
I am the 1st resident and have enjoyed my six years here at Overture. There are plenty of activities, and everyone can stay real busy or you can live a quiet life if that is what you like. I am very blessed to be a part of this community. The residents have been wonderful And friendship that will last a lifetime.
I have only been here a little over one month but already feel at home, Everyone is so friendly and there is so much to do here. The events are fun and the library is spectacular! I am an avid reader and am very pleased with the selection of books provided.

We are very happy to be back at the Overture. I would definitely rate the Overture a 5 if only we could get the TV in the theater room upgraded to the Direct TV so we could watch sports events from that provider. We have Direct TV in one of the TV's in the dining area but the sitting in that area is not conducive to watching sports events as it is in the theater with its comfortable sitting. I know that when we lived here in 2017-18 we used to get together and watch the Spurs and NFL games in the theater. Maybe someone can work on this. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Good place to live! Building maintenance is fairly kept up with most things working all the time. Staff is responsive to requests/complaints.

Members of the community have been very welcoming. Drawback is that after 7 pm, people just retreat to their apartments. There is very little opportunity to mingle and get to know people better.
Very friendly people. We have been here a week and enjoyed meeting a lot of people. Looking forward to trying out some of the activities in the coming days
We really enjoy our time here. Well run and caring staff. Our community Lifestyle Coordinator is second to none. Lots for well-run activities!!! Management is confident and clearly understands seniors. We've looked at new construction apts. in the area and this is still the best we've found. Need to continue to upgrade and maintain the building as it is 6+ years old. More daily maintenance of pool and hot tub is needed. It is almost a full-time job which I don't think our Maintenace staff has time to perform properly. Thanks!
Overall, I am pleased with this community. I am very happy with the manager. She, as well as the rest of the office staff are friendly and try their best for the benefit of the residents. I also like the custodians and the way they and the office staff follow any maintenance problem in order to resolve them promptly and efficiently. Our special activity director is very creative, thoughtful and inclusive.
Personally, I am unhappy about the fact that in order to allow for water aerobics and Yochi classes, both twice- weekly classes of Chair Flow Yoga class were discontinued.
Definitely a beautiful community! Landscaping around the heated pool is colorful and well maintained. The welcoming committee put notes at my door, along with a resident bringing me fresh flowers on behalf of the Garden Club ????. Come check out Overture Stone Oak ?
Friendly residences. Not all activities seem open to new participants with current people entrenched in activities. This is not intention but result of lack of any suggestions of how to join activities
Nice people, plenty of things to do. well kept grounds. Very responsive maintenance program. Residents involved in activities. Overall very homelike atmosphere.

During the month of December, experience a person touching my door decoration and made it fall off. I was surprise did not except something of this to happen at the Overture apartments. Disappointed.

Since 1/14/15 to now 5/25 my resident experience. Continuation with a pet that continues to urinate on hallway carpet. On 1/14/25 received an email from Overture Stone Oak stating that it is a pet friendly apartment complex. That is understood however the hallway carpets are soiled due to continuous pet urine too include odor left behind when a dog urine another dog urinates on the same spot. 7 years with the same hallway carpets has taken its toll from dog urine and its odor, etc. You asked of my experience this is what I have seen, and I have spoken with Office Manager Yvonne regarding this situation.

Pet dogs urinating on carpet. Pet owner does not attempt to clean urine. Received an email on 1/3/25 from the Overture Office Management requesting another reminder for pet owner to pick up pet waste and dispose contents in proper place. The issue to include is the urine this is not being clean by pet owner, when not clean it goes into the carpet leaving a ordor behind, then another dog will pick up the scent and urine on carpet leaving people stepping on dog urine left behind.
