We've lived here almost three years and love the fellowship and the management team is simply the Best! Great variety of activities which we enjoy and have been very active participants. Love the secured parking and the community garden.

This is a wonderful senior apartment complex. There are a few safety features I wish we had such as after using key fob, push buttons to automatically open main doors for walkers/wheelchairs, more safety rails at the pool, and grab bars in all apartment bathrooms. Yes, it is an independent living active community, but certain safety features should be standard for seniors.
Now, for the good news. We have an excellent management team and maintenance workers. Bria, our activities coordinator, is praiseworthy! Our residents are the best people I have the privilege of living with. We have so much fun here at Overture Cotswold that we are often reluctant to go elsewhere. We truly have a strong sense of community here. The location is superb, and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

The maintenance staff goes beyond the call of duty, always, to help, fix, repair or whatever the need! I very much appreciate them, along with the management staff who also give their best to us every day!
Great environment. Buildings and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Pet friendly. Wonderful sense of community and kind neighbors. Daily activities are fun.
We have met so many great folks in our first few weeks here and are absolutely loving it here at Overture Cotswold. The amenities are awesome and the staff is so friendly and helpful.

Overture Cotswold is a great place to live!!! We are more than an apartment complex, we are a family!! And the very best part of being in this family is the people and the respect we all have for each other for privacy. Those who choose to take care of each other, do so. However, no one is forced to. Even people who very seldomly interact with the greater number who do, frequently comment on how nice it is to have neighbor/friends looking out for each other. There is a lot going on regularly and yet there is plenty of quiet space too. If you are looking for a new home, please consider Overture Cotswold!!!!!
Since my last review Overture has turned over a new leaf. The associates that work here have bent over backwards to improve every aspect of Overture. We have never had such an efficient maintenance person as Oscar. He is there for you no matter how big or small the issue within a short time. The front office people are kind and friendly. The Wednesday night get together have brought a lot more people together. I look forward to being able to stay here if the rent doesn’t go up too much. Everyone isn’t working and having to live off of there retirement.
I love living at Overture Cotswold. Everyone I meet is so friendly and the staff are very helpful. The amenities are great, the activities are well planned and coordinated, and communications are good. I can’t say enough good things about these apartments.

You can’t imagine the difference in our maintenance team. These two people are doing an amazing job. You can depend on Oscar to be pleasant, courteous, helpful and efficient. We have needed this person here for a long time. There is NOT one person that would disagree with me. He is always going the extra mile for everyone. I have never seen him leave this property on time. Thanks for the awesome improvement to Cotswold.

Love living here. My accommodations are good. Have an elderly dog which is a delight to residents. I do not look for things to complain about. I also feel very safe here
The application process was generally uneventful. I had 1 issue that Kim rectified and we were on our way. The NC search took longer than expected, but I suppose that is just a part of the process
Love the other residents. Very good staff.Manager Kim is doing a great job. Bria is wonderful and Kim #2 is very sociable. Nice apartment even after 4+ years here. Hopefully my upcoming lease renewal is fair and something I can afford. I'd like to stay here.

I lived at a wonderful apartment community. The management team is great very helpful and kind. We have a great activities coordinator, who provides us with lots of things to do The people here are friendly.
The living here has been easy, friendly, and full of fun activities. My apartment is large and sun filled which I love. The life style coach is phenomenal. I love being here.

We have a wonderful community here at Overture Cotswold. Our lifestyle coordinator, Bria, is so creative and caring. She provides fun monthly social activities that truly supports a sense of community here. We also have many resident led activities that embrace and celebrate our diversity and sense of humanity. We are so fortunate to live in such a welcoming and engaging apartment complex.
We have been at Overture since Jan 2020. As a couplle who relocated from another states, making friends was important to us. Overture has the friendliest residents. You cannot escape the smiles. When asked have you made any friends, I respond more than 100. We even know many of the pets. They are friendly as well
I always appreciate the maintenance service provided. It's always prompt, and Ricky is very professional and efficient.
It is good to know that information provided to management results in answers and acknowledgement. I am grateful for that.
I have had a very wonderful experience at the Overture Cotswold. It is a very relaxed community with lots of opportunities to meet people. It is easy to get in touch with the staff. An upgrade of the amenities would add some pleasantness. But, overall, it is a very nice place to live at.
I didn't realize that when we moved to Overture 3 1/2 years ago that we would aquire not only a lovely place to live but also 100 new friends. we not only needed to learn their names but also the names of their pets. A 55 plus community was a good decision for us who left their friends and homes to experience a new life of retirement. Unless you choose to be alone, you are never lonely.

I come from Upstate NY for 6 months in winter, now planning to stay 12 months, love the atmosphere and friendliness of this community and facilities. Very Friendly and relax atmosphere
Everyone here is so nice and friendly, and always says hello. I have gone to Zumba gold core & Balance and Pool Aerobics, and again extremely friendly instructors . I am familiar with shopping nearby as I had a house off Carmel Rd, and when I first came to Charlotte , from Long Island NY loved in Dileorth and still came to Cotswold Shopping Center.

Getting settled into apartment. All is well. Dealing with typical "moving issues", learning how things work, getting connected etc. Parking gate issues are a minor concern and inconvenience, but the OC staff has been so helpful about many different things!
I’ve lived here for almost 3 years, and have cultivated sincere friendships. There is a true sense of community here, and we really care about our neighbors well being. There are also many social activities to keep us engaged and active. I’m very happy I chose Overture to be my home.

Would like to see better appearance at mix and mingle; such as highly suggesting residents sit at different tables and different people each week. This would definitely promote equity and meeting other residents.
Love the residents here. All are very friendly, warm and welcoming. The life style coach or social director (Bria) is exceptionally good in doing her job. Hope she is allowed to stay with us.
Everyone I have met has been very friendly and helpful. Neighbors said I could prop the door open and use the cart to unload as I was moving in. People have dropped by to say hello.

However, management seems to be listening and addressing the needs. No place is perfect, but I am very happy where I am!
Very pleased with the new management team. They couldn’t be nicer. The maintenance team is awesome. You have a problem, they always find a way to get your problem resolved in an efficient and timely manner. Even though I love it here, this will probably be my last year here due to the 10% increase I was given.

Many changes in the last year. Lots of talk going on regarding people leaving to elsewhere. A couple living in my building made life stressful with the police showing up a few times and taking her to jail. They are gone now. By The time you get to know management they have been replaced. Also, the talk about everyone’s rent going up we wonder if we can afford to stay. I personally have found some wonderful friends here and would like to stay.

Downgraded from last year. Things not getting done in a timely manner. 2 main TVs not working. 1 out for over 2 years and main dining room TV out since Christmas or so. Less being offered to us for events than last year. Mgmt always has an excuse prepared for problems. Now it seems Mix & Mingle has been lessened to a pot luck event once a month. Residents needs seem to be getting backburnered the past 6 months or so.

Have slipped from 5 stars to 3 stars. At least 1/2 of the time the coffee machine is not working. This is not an exaggeration! The food for Mix and Mingle has really declined in the past month. There was an effort (due to some residents not being able to eat sweets) to have the monthly birthday Mix and Mingle be more than ice cream and cake. October's last M & M was just ice cream---no cake and no other food except for ice cream toppings. Hardly anyone has met the new manager personally. She does not mix and mingle although I am sure she is working hard back in her office. We lost our friendliest office personnel when Monica left for another Overture. We are happy for her promotion(she deserved it) but no one else is friendly and smiling. It is just not like the Overture Cotswold we moved into 4 1/3 years ago.
