A great community to live in . My husband passed away 4 months ago. The management and my friends have surrounded me with compassion and care, giving me enough space and time to grieve. Although I miss some of my old friends who moved to another beautiful community place to live, I appreciate being able to walk to the nearest to buy groceries ( I do not have a car, so the closeness to such places is very important to me).I also appreciate having a guest apartment in” Overture” Plano. Many of other communities do not have such amenities.

Overture Plano is a great place to live. The apartments are very nice, and your neighbors will be your lifelong friends. Come visit Overture sometime and see for yourself.

After 75 days it has been good. Have slowly been meeting the residence, but not remembering names. He maintenance guys have been a big help, with little problems I’ve had. Over all I’ve become comfortable with my new home.

We just moved in on Tuesday, but we know we are going to love it here. The residents and the staff are so friendly. We like the multiple activities available everyday.

Moved from larger apartment to smaller one. Love it…finally getting settled. Need to meet my new neighbors. Maintenance has been helpful…Al is the person I have dealt with the most and he’s delightful.

Love our apartment and our community. The facility and amenities are terrific and the staff are wonderful. Sometimes maintenance tasks take longer than preferred and last summer the pool cleanliness was often a problem (we'll see this summer!) but overall maintenance has improved significantly over the last few months. I think Overture is a great place to live!

My wife and I believe Overture Plano is the best place for us. The building, its public areas, and our apartment work very well for our lifestyle.

Love the feeling of community. People really care about each other. Great activities. There is truly something for everyone. Games, clubs, food, entertainment even exercise classes and movies.

I like the convience of markets and Walmart. We are also close to hospitals and restaurants. Overture needs more management and workers to keep the facility in shape. The building is 8 yrs old and needs apartments washer, dryer, refrigerators replaced. When they breakdown it takes to long to get parts to repair. Never have parts on premise. We all pay good money to live here.

I feel very much included, understood, and cared for. The building is beautiful with new paint and soon to be washed windows. Hope my health permits me to grow very old here. Looking forward to thanksgiving and sharing my apartment with daughter and granddaughter and with cousin who will be using a guest apartment.

The computers in the Hub have been unusable for several weeks. A "no internet" message pops up when attempting to use them. Thank you very much for your help with this.

Your staff has very helpful in every way to make my move in easy. they have been very accommodating. I have had several people welcome me already in the hallways, elevators and the lobby.

We have a friendly community, people help each other and care about their neighbors. It is a nice, safe neighborhood , there are grocery stores nearby and doctors offices as well.

The 6 month stay has gone well. Maintenance has helped three times durning this time period and they completed all tasks well. Also, the management has been very helpful.

Residents friendly, but tend to group together for every event. No manager on site for several weeks now. Mix and Mingles are loud. It's difficult to hear with music turned on and 80+ people talking at the same time. Food at the Mix and Mingle has improved.

Need better management. Repairs take too long to get done. Too many things are taken away. Need a Pool person, the Pool is out of order more then it is in useable condition.Accounting system needs to be updated, my Billing has been messed up for six Months

Many residents participating in the classes that Greystar offers. The residents organize many other games to play during the offtimes. There is a volunteer decorator that plans something special for every occasion. She does wonders. There are opportunities to do volunteer work.

I’m very happy in this community and appreciate those people that try and keep a positive attitude and work hard to please ! I do feel we have a few ups and downs that need to be addressed in regards to security! I also feel more maintenance help is needed as well!

I am very disappointed with my amenities that I was promised at the signing of my lease. The pool is not being properly maintained and is giving people allergies and rashes. The hot tub has not worked in 6 months and is an eye sore from my balcony. The resident ice Machine in is broken I understand things break but it takes far too long for repairs to take place. The continental breakfast has not changed in the 2 years that I have lived here and now they are opening the package food and cutting the muffins in half and they run out of food 5 minutes past 9:00 serving time. This facility is beginning to look more like an Assisted living than an Active living community. Caregivers are allowed to roam freely as they come to assist the residents which jeopardizes all of our safety. The planned activities are no longer fun and engaging. They are more resident sponsored events or Health Vendors trying to sell US some goods or services they provide.

Five months in to a 14-month lease and I'm already looking for options. Yes, I've had more than my share of maintenance issues and I'd bet money once summer rolls around again I'll have a dead a/c for the third time. Noise is also a lot worse than I thought it would be. The walls in this complex are incredibly thin. You can hear your next-door neighbor close a cabinet door or cough - it's that bad - never mind the footsteps overhead or dealing with a loud TV from down the hall. My downstairs neighbor pounded on the ceiling while I was vacuuming yesterday mid-morning. Guess they couldn't take 10 minutes of that noise. So, it's not really a peaceful place. All the social activities in the world don't make up for that.

USPS mail is being removed from my mailbox which is governed by USA. WHY OVERTURE is forcing you to use their unprofessional portal? Why I can not use my bank to pay the rental??? Why I am the only one who have two devices on the wall in each bedroom that goes off when an fool pull the FIRE ALARM level I have come to the conclusion I am the only one with these evil devices because the old tenants are still residing here!!! Overture always insisting on me moving in Lucifer as house. My package was stolen at Overture, I have a picture of this delivery. Overture wants me to use UPS, AMAZON AND FEDEX and not to use the ASIAN delivery!!! I use Asia products, they are cheaper and they have a more female style!!! THESE ARE SOME OF THE EVILNESS AT OVERTURE PLANO!!!

They do not repair the AC on the 4th floor. It appears it is shut off, but Overture Plano needs to beautify the court yard and the area near the swimming pool which no one ever use. The kids (team) do not take an interest in the tenants which are elderly. Serve processed foods, do not deliver packages to their doors or to the Amazon HUB, heat kills the elderly and the AC HAS BEEN OFF FOR OVER 2 1/2 years. This place is NOT FOR The ELDERLY. The devices installed in the my bedrooms are used to go OFF when the FIRE ALARMS goes OFF. (A way to force me to enter in another evil location they have prepared for me) Lied about who owns this complex. The p!ace has really deteriorated to trash!!!

The worst I have ever encountered because the Staff are not true, they are LIARS. I have not been given the correct renewal lease because this staff do not want me to get the $250 renewal concession for signing the lease early which is today 11/16/23. These people are FRAUD and refused to do the things that a management complex is supposed to do; by not hurting me to force me to move to a HOUSE and elderly residing here do not have these EVIL horns in their bedrooms because the hall alarm is enough. Those who move are not moving in a HOUSE. This is the most EVIL thing you can do to any person or animal. I rate these EVIL staff 0 because that how I am being abused.
