Overture Greenville is my forever home! The friendships speak volumes. 1). There are so many activities for everyone. 2). The gym is equipped with the latest equipment and I also benefit from everyday 3). Their pool is “heated” and I’ve enjoyed many days with friends there. 4). I have lived at Overture 55+ in Greenville, SC for over 4 years and love it!! There have been times when I’ve felt that it has lost the staff run functions and is mostly resident run now, even though our rent keeps going up. The staff is great.

Overture Greenville has been my home since it opened in 2020. It is a beautiful and lovely community. The residents are warm, friendly and like family. The staff is wonderful and always willing to help with a smile on their face. We have a nice variety of scheduled activities and events to help keep us active. We have an equipped gym and exercise classes which include yoga, aerobics, etc. The heated pool is a definite plus.

I love living here. The staff and residents are great. I enjoy taking advantage of all of the activities that are offered. The gym and exercise classes are my favorite. I started to play pickle ball and have met some new friends.

In considering the amazingly comprehensive job of our Manager Luke, I must congratulate him. His communication skills coupled with the ability to manage across-the-board operations make for a pleasant atmosphere. It is My Happy Place although, at ninety, I must move on.

I've lived at Overture Greenville for almost 2 years and couldn't be happier! The apartments are beautiful, spacious ,with great closet space and new appliances. The grounds are lovely, with plenty of areas for reading by the pool, grilling with friends or simply relaxing in the sun! The gym is state of the art and there are plenty of activities to choose from. Most importantly are the amazing people who work hard every day to create this wonderful environment for the residents, what a great job they do!! This is a safe,friendly, joyful place to call home!

The residents are great and one of the main reasons we continue to stay here. We also think the staff is excellent which is another reason for staying. Also the maintenance staff is superb and another reason. The maintenance staff has come within 30 minutes each time we have requested their assistance.

Great place to live and a beautiful environment have particularly enjoy the smiling faces that are always there to greet me whether I’m coming or going into my apartment overture in Greenville is beautifully designed and kept immaculately clean. I would highly recommend anyone who is an aging senior appreciates fellowship, a variety of Activities to pursue or not but is available our happy hours as well as our catered. Breakfast seems to be a big hit thanks to Luke, Chris, Emma, and Jessica.

When I moved here, COIVID-19 Vaccination started.I didn’t have any idea where to go.Then I met a lady who is resident here and retirees nurse. She was the kindest person I’ve met.She took me to got a Vaccination. I was so glad that I had made right choice to moved here.

Staff is friendly and courteous. Residents are nice and welcoming. There is something to do every day The location is very convenient to I-385 & I--85, as well as shopping and dining. Downtown Greenville has top entertainment at the Peace Center and 3 Minor League Professional Sports Teams. We are happy we moved here.

I’ve been on vacation for 3 weeks and it’s nice to come home to my cozy apartment in OVERTURE where the staff is wonderful and welcoming. The maintenance team keeps the community complex nice and clean and very well maintained. I enjoy teaching line dancing to the residents as a volunteer. It’s so much fun and I love the Zumba, Dance Fitness class, Happy Hour social activities and much more! I especially love the friends I have made at OVERTURE since day 1.

I believe I see positive changes. Luke sent out an email about staff attending a meeting. No one needs to ask about where they are. That is a big step. Emma scheduled a zoo trip. Yeah. This was such a quick response. I praise all the staff and look forward to exciting adventures.

I have been a resident for six months. I chose Overture for the activities and community style living. I am definitely please with my lifestyle. I never feel alone or isolated. My advice to any new resident is get out of your apartment and meet people. If you desire privacy you have that but its alot more fun and healthier to join the activities.

Overture Greenville is a great place to live. There are many activities that you can join in on or not, it’s strictly up to you. The staff and maintenance crew are the best. Come join the party!

Overture is a wonderful home for me at this stage of life. I love to keep busy and there is a calendar that comes out at the beginning of the month with many diverse activities. There are also many opportunities for the residences to join in with so many talents right here. In this way it does not take long before you have many new friendships.

This is the first time I've ever lived in an apartment building so I truly have nothing to compare this with. It's been very nice. My neighbors are all very pleasant and the amenities are mostly good.

Overture is a beautiful place to live! There are multiple amenities, many actvities for residents, great staff and a stylish apartment to call your home. I would recommend Oveture to anyone who is looking for a 55+ Community!

Apartment/Community living is what you make it! However, I feel blessed that we have a great sense of community here! There is no reason to sit in your apartment and miss out on all the great socialization, exercise, card, domino, corn hole, karaoke, book club, etc., opportunities. If anyone is bored living here, it is because they didn’t walk out their door!

Everyone seems to be very friendly. There are a lot of activities to choose from and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Most importantly I feel safe in my new home.

I have enjoyed living at Overture! I wish I could stay but it has gotten too expensive. I will miss the Happy Hours and the activities (both Resident Led and by Overture Staff). Security was important to me when I moved here and I felt very safe, even at night in the parking lot. My apartment, though a bit too small, was lovely -- I loved the walk in shower with the bench! The closet space off the bedroom was very nice too! The grounds and pool area are lovely -- it's so nice to have gas grills available to all residents. Most of all, there are truly some wonderful people who live at Overture -- I have made many friends!

Wonderful maintenance team. Very prompt and courteous. Management is very nice also. I like the concierge service that provides Lyft. It takes some of the stress out of arranging a ride.

We have had a wonderful experience since moving here last November. The residents are great particularly with the diversity we have. The staff is great and the maintenance staff is simply incredible. We had a problem which was fixed within a hour after letting staff know about it.

WE love it here at Overture in Greenville, SC. The maintenance is fast and the best ever and it's well kept. Everyone is super nice. The only complaint is that Brunch has lots of room for improvement!!!

Since living here,I’ve met many nice people,learned many games,so I’m having a enjoyable time. I’ve told my son & all friends too. When I found overture,my son was worried racial prejudice. Because I’m a Japanese. There is nothing to worry about.Everyone has been kind.

I have loved living here for the past 4 years but a lot has changed and not all for the good. Muffins for branch??? Not a good idea. I’d rather have eggs, bacon, biscuits, muffins , yogurt, fruit - much better for the residents.

Up to this point in my lease at this community, my experience has been mostly positive. I am not able to attend all scheduled or even most scheduled activities due to conflicts with previously committed functions. I have interacted with several of my neighbors. All but a few are very friendly and respect the rights of others. My apartment is very nice. I would, however, make some changes as an example a two sided sink in the kitchen. I would also include access to the rear door on first floor apartments! What a terrible waste of an access door by putting railing around the patio! I look forward to the next review.

Great place to live if you are part of an aging population. Luke, Felicia,Emma and Jessica are available and friendly. Maintenance request are handled in a timely manner and communication is quite good on the butterfly Mx app. Nothing is perfect, but this comes close for my needs and wants and the convenience to shopping and medical facilities is great. This is a perfect location.

I have been here for over 3 years and really love it but with the rent going up every year and the events going away it’s hard to justify spending more. Most of the people who live here are retired and have a limited income, I don’t think we can continue living here and it’s sad!!

The community is wonderful. I have met some very nice people that have become friends. The staff is delightful. The only reason I did not give it 5 points is because I am amazed at the number of things that break or do not function properly in a building that is only four years old. For example, at this moment the electronic gates to enter the parking lot have been wide open for several days. A few weeks ago one of the doors did not work with our key fobs and it seems to take an extended time to get them fixed. That being said I am glad I chose Overture and would definitely recommend it.

The only reason I did not give this five stars is due to how some of the property is maintained. For example entering from the parking lot in to Stair 4 Level 1 the concrete needs pressure washing including the steps and the large cracks filled in. It is not a good appearance when I bring guests to my apartment. I am still waiting to get my light fixed in the hallway above my apartment number. There are also areas outside that need to be pressure washed. Other than that I would recommend Overture to anyone looking for a friendly and beautiful place to live. The staff is welcoming, the activities are fun. The weekly brunch is great and happy hour is a wonderful way to socialize.

I am mostly very happy about our move here! I love the staff at Overture -- but I am not impressed with Greystar. They do not seem concerned about the Residents or their issues. It's really frustrating!

Great community of people who have quickly become friends! Lots to do in Greenville, so also a great city to live in! I do feel like the staff is spread thin since they spend time at another facility, which seems to have caused this apartment building to be neglected a bit. Repairs take longer and small maintenance issues are “patched” and not repaired. The grounds and building are not as clean as when I first moved in and overall, it is not as shiny and upscale as it was a couple of years ago.

This is a great community, with wonderful residents and nice staff. I would like to see more variety in the monthly activities. I know that a lot of residents don’t participate, but perhaps some lunch and learns with more relevant topics would be of interest to them.

I generally love living at Overture. I love the fitness classes. My HUGE complaint is the noise of the A/C compressors in the attic. I live on the 4th floor, and the noise is awful 6 months of the year.

I would like the pool to be kept at a constant 82 degrees. If the pool is open all year round but the water is kept only high enough to stop from freezing it isn't fit to go swimming.

Very nice apartments with the halls, lounge, card room, demo kitchen, outdoor pool that are nice. For those who drink coffee, hot tea or hot chocolate, it is bonus for them to have that benefit "free". The staff is congenial and helpful. The end of my first year, I was very surprised disappointed my rent increased 15% and I had only two weeks to find another place. If I took longer, then my rent would increase beyond the 15%. When I rented my apartment in September 2021, it was my first experience with rental. I had always owned a house with my husband.

It has been 4 months since Peggy and I moved here. Management is friendly and generally helpful, but, slow to react to problems, such as the front gate, pool heater and TV's in the Gym. Only 1 TV is working. In speaaking with other Gym users, we all find it easier to work out with the sets working. One cannot help but presume Management beyond this location holds the purse strings very tightly.

1. Weekly breakfast and happy hour could use improvements 2. Valet trash should be optional 3. Some residents think they own the amenities. 4. Thought it was an active community but it really is not. 5. Hallways and stair wells could be cleaner 6. The paint that is used in the apartments is horrible need a better paint.

I’ve lived here a little more than 3 years & so many people have left because of the increases here with less activities!! It’s very sad, some of my good friends are going to leave because of the crazy increase & few activities Why would Overture have a trivia nite at another apartment complex? It should have been here! Overture needs to really work at making this place Fun! I would not recommend this place

Residents that live above other residents, need to be more aware of noise that is made. I do understand that this is apartment living, but there is a certain amount of respect that should come along with this type of living.
