Holiday greetings to all! We are midway through our second lease term here at The Overture Barrett. We had a wonderful time at the resident holiday party this evening provided by The Overture Barrett staff. The food was fantastic with a variety of choices complete with holiday drinks and treats. The music was festive with an abundance of beautiful holiday decorations throughout. this place is so nice and everybody is very nice athe residentsare very nice I would recommend this placethere's a beautiful pool that's heated there'sthere's a fire pit outside a couple of grills that are real nice there's a fire pit there's a really nice gym your packages if you get from Amazon there's a big locker and they'll send you a code that you put in to get your packages the staff is really nice too Chastity is a great she organizes all the activities that go on here and they have breakfast in the mornings they have a happy hour where all the residents meet at 4:00 so there's plenty to do lots of activities there's exercise classes and they have bingo I think on Sundaysyou just need toto come you just have to come bye and have a tour you will love it

This complex is absolutely amazing! All the amenities I wanted & a good rent fee. Everyone is always so helpful & friendly. Best move I could have made & really love it here. Stay as busy as you want or relax as much as you want. This is a new family.

The atmosphere, activities and the other residents contribute to a relaxing time here. Maintenance personnel are always friendly and even greet you in the hallways. Leasing office personnel always have a smile and are there to answer any question.

I have lived at Overture Barrett for almost four years. I really like living here. The location is very convenient for the places I go to most often. The property is attractive, with a wonderful courtyard and nice decor throughout the common areas. There is a pool, a fitness center, a beauty salon, and many other amenities. Most important, it's quiet and the residents are nice.

We have tons of activities to keep us busy. The area we live in is so convenient to everything. There are grocery stores, restaurants, banks, medical offices, etc within walking distance. Our community is very comfortable inside and out. There is usually someone in the common areas to talk to. Our staff is like family to us. Our maintenance crew is the best in my book. They are quick to respond to service requests. Overall, this is a great place to live.

I want to thank Trish for all the personal help she gave to me. For getting me in this wonderful place. I'm here because of my cousin Cheryl Lenney. She had fallen several times. I came nearly 60 miles to help her during her recovery. She is much better since I moved in to Overture Barrett. Osman was amazing also. I have lived at Overture Barrett for more than three years. The location is very convenient, as it is close to restaurants, shopping, and I-75. Members of the staff are professional, responsive, and friendly. Shout out to the members of the maintenance team - they do an excellent job of keeping Overture Barrett clean, attractive, and functioning well. There is a great variety of activities available for residents all week long, including Bingo, movies, and exercise classes. I especially enjoy the events planned by the staff to celebrate holidays and special occacions. All in all, Overture Barrett has been a very comfortable and convenient home for me for several years.

I love my apartment except that my balcony is closed in with no railings. Overture is a community that watches out for each other. I have trust issues with a member of our mng't team but that's something I have to deal with. Overall it's a great place to live.

I appreciate the many convenient features of my Overture Barrett apartment. Walk-in shower, washer and dryer in the unit, lovely landscaping, and a quiet atmosphere all make for a very comfortable home. Also important to me is the gated parking and the very convenient location of the apartment building. It's close to shopping and restaurants. It's close to I-75, making it very convenient to get anywhere in a short period of time. I have enjoyed living here for more than 3 years.

The Overture Barrett in Kennesaw, provides a positive living environment all the way around. My experience has been just fantastic. Downsizing from a very large home was a challenge simplified at Overture Barrett. From providing a full size Garage to storage units, Overture Barrett has it all! Only recently can I give a good review. We finally got a good manager! The past few have been control freaks and did not listen to the residents concerns or did they seem to care. Corporate - the whole lobby area and the dinning room needs to be updated, the furniture is falling apart and very outdated. Carpet is awful! With all the new apartments being built around here, this should be a priority.

We haven't been here long, however even before we moved in it was very apparent that the residents were happy, engaged and enjoying all the various activities. Everyone has been really friendly and welcoming towards us. The staff are all upbeat, kind and very helpful. We are so glad that we found a 55+ apartment community that has so many amenities, so well kept with beautiful grounds in the courtyard to enjoy.

I absolutely love it here. We live like a family and everyone looks out for everyone. We recently had a DJ for a Friday night and I noticed two ladies helping another resident (with MS) to dance with others. It brought tears to my eyes because I realized what a special place that I call home.

I have been here 3 weeks and it was a rough start. I had rented 446 and once getting there it appeared my furniture would not fit…my movers outside with my furniture and Trish rushed to a solution saying there happened to be another 1 bedroom available on the first floor. I like it very much. Quite small with just 2 drawers in the kitchen! I am now used to everything., I love the facility, the programs offered and the kind laid and are a family. I wish I had found you 4 years ago when I moved from Florida. Lovely grounds. In my opinion the only thing missing is some kind of transportation…Uber and Lyft are killers. Round trip to Publix ( less than 1 mile costs just over 20.00. I know there are some services that help with that but getting out for an hour or two would be nice. In my experience her has been above and beyond. Glad to be here!

I have lived there 5 years and love it here. I feel very safe here. Everyone is so pleasant and I can enjoy all the activities or none if I want to. Best decision I made as to where to live as long as I can be independent. If something doesn’t work all I have to do is call and they are there ASAP and always efficient and pleasant. Living in Overture Barrett, an Over 55 Community has freed me from all the maintenance & upkeep requirements normally associated with owning a home. No longer do I spend my Saturdays mowing the lawn & doing household repairs. Overture Barrett has a full-time maintenance crew to handle any & all repairs necessary. The extent of my involvement in apartment repairs is making one telephone call. The same goes for appliance repair/replacements. One phone call is all it takes to have a major appliance repaired or replaced. Maintenance free living = peace of mind!!

I enjoy living at Overture Barrett. It's in a very convenient location, close to shopping and restaurants, and close to I-75 and I-575. Overture Barrett has many amenities, including a pool, fitness center and exercise classes, a movie theater, and a beautiful courtyard. The staff does a very good job of maintaining the premises. They are responsive to the needs and desires of the residents. They work hard to resolve issues. I like the automatic doors that were recently installed at my entrance and the new furniture by the elevator. All in all, I consider Overture Barrett a great place to live.

Living at Overture is a great experience if you're ready to rid yourself of the responsibility of a house. The residents are warm and caring and accepting. We enjoy each other and some of us choose to gather at4 o'clock each day to socialize . It's like having a large extended family.

There are activities offered and you can participate in those you choose. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I have found the maintenance staff to respond to any needs you present on the portal. In the Greystar story, CEO Bob Faith worked to develope rental housing set out to meet the need for housing that was more focused on people’s needs not assets. Many people over 55 are living on fixed incomes. It seems with all of our rent increases, the original intent has been moved away from. I understand you have costs that need to be met, yet in looking around at other apartments, your rent is higher and percentage wise the rate of your rent increase is more than most others for senior living.

We are quite concerned to see many residents dissatisfied and moving to other locations thereby leaving many many vacancies. The rise in rent and the water/sewer issue charges are major factors. Lack of communication from staff and not getting consistent answers. The breakfasts are not consistent; sometimes there are none and many times not enough food till 10 AM.

It has not been good at Overture Barrett for several months. We still do not have pool furniture and we keep getting different stories about that issue. There is a general lack of organization with the management and communication is at its worst ever. The valet trash service was thrust upon us with out any notice and mis information. E-mail event notices are sent out at the last minute and then the times always get changes. We desperately need a new manager who knows how to manage, please.
