I love living here, nice and secure, the only thing is the rent keeps going up, but I’m sure other places are going up as well, but great place to live

I love destination. The staff is amazing and they respond to everything in a timely manner. I remember when my air went out one night and maintenance was here in ten minutes. I was really impressed because I never spoke to anyone and I thought they would come out the next morning. Well it took him two minutes and I had air again. Thank you maintenance staff!!

I REALLY ENJOY LIVING HERE AT DESTINATIONS ALEXANDER. I HAVE ONLY BEEN HERE FOR A LITTLE OVER EIGHT MONTHS NOW, I HAVE MET LOTS OF NEW AND EXCITING PEOPLE. I HAVE HAD A LOT OF FEAR WITH MEETING NEW PEOPLE IN THE PAST, ALTHOUGH I FEEL THAT BECAUSE I AM ONE OF THE YOUNGER RESIDENCES HERE THAT I HAVE AN EASIER TIME WITH PEOPLE OF AN OLDER AGE. I HAVE ALWAYS FELT THIS WAY BECAUSE WITH AGE COMES EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE AND I ENJOY LEARNING WHAT OTHER PEOPLE KNOW THAT I DON'T.

So it’s still good, my only problem is the our bus keeps breaking down and it takes way too long to fix it. In which case I know it only takes a few days to fix the bus, but instead you choose to keep the bus down 2 to 3 months. Which isn’t fair to our community since we do pay rent to ride the bus. Hopefully this problem will help and start been resolved sooner than later

First of all the leasing office and the personnel are so friendly and professional the tour was very interesting. We loved it. The area is so quiet and the landscape so neat tree, shrubbery, and flowers I really love it. The residents are friendly They all said how much they love it at Destinations Alexander

I like the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The maintenance team is knowledgeable and prompt whenever I have a maintenance request. There are many opportunities to socialize with other residents, either community- or resident-led. I enjoy the pool and Jacuzzi tub; the gym, library, and exercise classes in the main clubhouse room. It's nice to have the salon on the property, too. The shuttle bus is fantastic to use, and helps me avoid traffic and parking issues. Taking the bus increases the time I have with my friends and we all can visit new restaurants or other destinations together.

So glad we have our community bus back. My dog Ms. Aqua is so loved in our community, especially by her Nola, Kayla and the rest of the office staff. As a relative "newbie," I made an error and submitted an article when I should have submitted a work request. I must say how impressed I was with the office staff immediately calling me first thing in the morning, and converting the call into action by notifying the maintenance manager, "Manny," of my issue. Within minutes, Manny was on site, evaluated the issue, and after obtaining parts, had the problem solved within a couple of minutes. Could this have happened anywhere else? I doubt it. Bravo Zulu to the office staff and especially the maintenance manager, Manny.

I know my neighbors love living here for different reasons, as for me it's so important to feel safe and comfortable and that's what I feel living here at Destination. There's no rude or prejudice attitude found in this community at all, everyone loves and respects each other. You meet new people almost every day, everyone that I've met seem to have good and interesting conversations along with awesome advice to share. It's if we've known each other for years even though we've just met, no one feels out of place here and everyone is treated with dignity. This is what I call home ?

I am debating on what I should do next. But as I have said it is wonderful staying here. The staff is great as well as the other tenants. The unit is great.

I love it here . I call it Home sInce day one of moving in 5 1/2 years ago. I had really nice neighbors over the years & I have learned a lot about the many different people here and their backgrounds & cultures where they come from. They have a trolley that takes you back & forth from the Clubhouse. A bus here that takes you to get groceries, shopping etc. They set up eating places and many other places to see here in Vegas that the bus take you. They have many different activities here .to watch or participate in. This is a Good way to meet people and learn about others.

My apartment Community is quiet on one side I have no neighbors. One the other side here's a lady stays to herself., which is great I am the same way. I'm content I absolutely love reading The Bible Is number one Book I also love the Author Danielle Steel so I Found some of her books in the library. I'm reading her book "Honor Thyself" in one week I'm halfway finished I have 220 pages to go ! So living in a community that is quiet is crucial for me.

I like the sense of community here; the sense of family I share with other residents. There are a lot of activities, bus trips to special events or to restaurants, shuttle bus trips for marketing and banking, monthly happy hours, dinners, and brunches. We have an outdoor grill near the pool and Jacuzzi. It's easy to walk the neighborhood if one feels inclined. If we need maintenance, they respond quickly; and they clean up after themselves. The office staff are friendly and helpful.

I l love destinations the staff is very nice and friendly it’s very quiet and I have the best neighbors . They keep the property clean. I have twenty four hours of access to the the gym and lobby. Actually I’m really enjoying my stay, it’s a great place to walk your dog the views at night and during the day are just totally beautiful and amazing. My only concern now are the recent thefts around our community. Just think we need a little security around there. I still feel safe, but would feel even safer if we had security.

I like living here. The people I have met are very nice and friendly. I especially like the happy hour and brunch events, going to other properties for their events, getting tickets for baseball and hockey games and going in the community bus, going to special things like the art museum. I also like the fact that the front gate is closed after 5 pm and on Sundays - I wish the gate was closed whenever the office is closed, which would include holidays.

It's a quiet place and I have not experienced any discomforts. Maintenance is prompt, I do not like the phone and answering service system. After hours I can understand, but I prefer to leave a message rather than go thru the whole information deal with the service. Sometimes return call are not as fast as it might seem possible, but 80 buildings means alot of residential calls to handle. I am still here so it must be a nice environment. I'm not here much as I work full time but I feel my home is safe and secure

My morning walks with our dog to the dog park is one of my highlights. Wherever you go, there is an opportunity to meet a new friend. This really just isn’t an apartment, it’s a community way of life. You can get Free shuttle rides, community dinner, Bingo, crafts, coffee, Sunday nondenominational church service, Wednesday nondenominational Bible study led by a resident The pool is beautiful. The grounds are well kept. The units are lit brightly at night.you do pay for water, garbage and sewer -make sure you add that onto your monthly budget. The maintenance staff are amazing. The office staff serve the community dinner. I love to bake and cook and there is always someone that appreciates it. I love the one story cottages. The office staff are gracious. To me, I sit in my apartment and feel grateful. there are some paint issues coming off cabinets, and we bought an air filter for smell and may need a portable AC for bedroom. But the good outweighs.

It’s a great place to live. The maintenance crew are the best. People are friendly. I just wish they had more security on the vehicles at night as someone tried to steal my car. The landscapers are the worst. When they are blowing leaves and whatever they believe our porches is where they should go. And we are all getting tired 9f seeing the dead trees or half dead trees. But even with all that I really like my home here.

Grounds well kept. Appliances older but well maintained by maintenance staff. Quiet atmosphere. Most of community friendly. Wife enjoys going to clubhouse for conversation with other neighbors, use pool, games as bingo bunko and the Tuesday afternoon outings to various restaurants via community bus.

Raises in rent are definitely becoming a problem. Happy to have the beauty parlor open, a definite plus for the community/ All bushes in my yard have died and been taken out due to lack of irrigation. Would like to have them replaced.

Nice community. But could use more storage in the units . Office staff could all give the same level of professionalism regardless of who answers the queries. Be sure you read your lease agreement completely. Rules are tough but fair if you want to live in a safe and pleasant community.

This is our first summer here. I know it’s hot in Las Vegas and we are experiencing a heat wave, but our bedroom just can’t get cool. I love the maintenance people but I don’t believe it’s fixable and so we can’t sleep here sometimes and are fortunate to have a son who has a bed room so we can be cool. :(.

The Community is Nice and everyone seems very Friendly. We have lived there for 8yrs and our only concern is our carpet. It is old and run down coming apart at the seams and is rippling throughout the apartment. Was told we could have Linoleum put down in living room and kitchen and bathroom but would hVe to pay 1600$ I wish something could be down.

The neighborhood is great. We have been there since 2021. The only thing that we don’t like is the how much the base goes up if the lease isn’t renewed. This time the base went up $600 for one month to fo month to month. Living on retirement it seems like there is no empathy or consideration for what else may be going on in eldery life. We went down $1200 in 2021 to $2055 for a one bedroom. We have to wonder why that is. Working 46 years just to pay rent is not what we expected for retired life.

I actually enjoyed my stay the first 2 years but in my 3rd year it seemed to go sideways. Accusations were made and things went downhill. I even had threats against me that were taken lightly. However the accusations against me were taken seriously by someone who moved out. I felt I did a lot for the community by decorating the windows (painting) along with the clubhouse and made center pieces for the tables. I also help residents with strollers and scooters but these positives were not appreciated. I know for fact maintenance was one sided by protecting certain residence by not reporting the apartment conditions to management, but we’re quick to report others if they did not see eye eye with that resident. I would be more than happy to share photos with one apartment in particular. I was hoping That I would never have to bring up these issues

Landscaping needs attention ; dead bushes and trees throughout the property should be replaced as they affect people’s perspective of a desired community that’s well kept. The Allen Gate area plants need replacing and the drip system needs to be checked for it to be working properly. Thank you for your attention to this matter; hopefully it will lead to action in the very near future.

The airplane noise being under North Las Vegas airport is tremendous the apartments are old run down and need to be remodeled badly and extremely overpriced for what you get place right down the street is beautiful modern amenities and $200 a month cheaper nothing special about this place at all nothing really going on in the neighborhood very boring no clubs

I have always given a 5-star until recently with the gate change. The neighborhood was secure as it was. We’re told that the gate entry process had to be changed because a tenant moved out. The problem is that many seniors do not use technology like others do. Some people have dementia or Alzheimer’s, which is devastating as it is, but to add complications to get through the gate is a double whammy. Now that we can use a family member’s phone number to open the gate, the system opens the exit instead of the entry side. The biggest thing is that the owners/property managers should have considered the Disability Act and how accommodations must be adhered to for safety reasons. If there is ever an emergency and someone has to wait outside the gate for another person to drive through to let them in, that’s a huge problem. The gate has been inconvenient from the beginning and is not improving. Please listen to the elderly tenants.

Just went to the office to sign my lease and was insulted by JJ, she called me a liar. I told her I called to let them know i would be late for my 3 o'clock she said she had been sitting there all day, then asked me did it go to voice mail, I told her no I just hung up. This is my second time in 3 years speaking with her and she has an attitude and does not give good customer service. This is a senior complex and we should be treated with respect.
